Guests are overjoyed with the location of this private quayside development five minutes walk to the town centre and the famous Ffestiniog Railway steam train station.

We enjoyed our annual autumn visit to Porthmadog, perhaps a little later this year. The flat was excellent as usual, with all that is required to act as a base to enjoy this scenic part of the country. We had a minor niggle with the toilet cistern, but this was resolved very quickly (thank you!), and was not a concern. We suffered from the mystery of disappearing teaspoons, but again we were provided with some more immediately.
The view from the panoramic window and balcony was as good as we remembered, and the estuary birds always provided entertainment as the tide comes in and recedes. New armchair was very comfortable, and the light blue walls were a pleasant change.
We can recommend this small flat as an excellent, comfortable and warm base. We were fortunate with the weather this year, as that is always a lottery in this part of Wales.

the flat was very good . nice new smart tv small but ok . weather was good most of the time . spooners has some good ale . all in all a very nice little flat with grand view's . mike from welshpool & chris my son in law from rockport U S A

Located on South Snowden Wharf this flat is located in the heart of Porthmadog. It is only a stones throw from the Ffestiniog Railway. The flat is in generally good repair and kitted out. Beds for four but realistically more comfortable for a maximum of three.
The best feature of the second floor flat is the estuary view which is great in summer and winter months.

We had a cosy week in Harbour Flat, very much enjoying watching the tides and the beautiful skies, the variety of bird life and the regular steam trains on the Cob. The flat was well equipped for a week's stay and we appreciated the little smart TV. Harbour Flat is an ideal base to use for exploring the surrounding area and all it has to offer.

We felt relaxed, the moment we stepped in. Everything (apart from towels) were provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Only thing they couldn't provide was the weather, but the views outside the balcony were perfect. Very convenient for the steam train and local amenities. Despite being so close to the station, there was no noise. The only annoying noise was a ticking coming from the boiler in the main bedroom, but apart from that, it was quiet . Would definitely think about coming back. I also got clear instructions and directions from S T S

The view from the flat balcony is amazing overlooking the Glaslyn estuary and the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland steam railway. Great choice of steam train journeys.
The location was great as we were able to walk into Portmeirion which took us about 1 hour and only 45 mins drive to Snowdon Mountain Railway. Although the lounge/dining/kitchen area was small it was fully equipped and reasonably comfortable. The balcony added more living space but unfortunately it rained during our stay and we were unable to sit outside as the rain dripped through the slats from the balcony above.
The kitchenette and bathroom are looking a bit tired and could do with updating. A stand-alone shower cubicle would be more welcome than having to step into the bath and the shower water pressure wasn't that great.
None of these factor affected our lovely holiday.

A 2 bedroom apartment with lounge/small kitchen and bathroom. Good points: position in Snowdonia, convenient for scenic railways and access to mountains and coasts; everchanging view of bay and wildlife; walking distance of all amenities in town with good shops and restaurants. Bad points: Kitchen quite small; twin beds somewhat saggy. Other comment: the advertised TV with DVD player has been replaced by a quite small Smart TV so there is no longer a DVD player.

We enjoyed a rather wet week in North Wales this year. We enjoy this flat as its location is superb, overlooking the constantly changing estuary. Ffestiniog railway is always fun, even though the benefits for life members have been annoyingly reduced unilaterally. Weather could have been better this year, but a visit to Bodnant Gardens was memorable.
The flat is compact but provides all the necessary facilities, and is comfortable. Recommended.

This is the second year that we have stayed here ,again the weather was fantastic, the location is peaceful but there are lots to see (sea birds ,fish etc) and shops are nearby. Again we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the location. Since we visited last year (June 2022) there have been some improvements to the apartment. New interior doors have been fitted and a new external door. The balcony decking has been replaced, and there are some new pictures on the walls ,along with a blackout blind in the main bedroom and new curtains in both bedrooms. We love the location and this is the second lovely holiday that we have had .

What a gem of an apartment! We’ve stayed in plenty on the Wharf and this one has to be the best.
Extremely clean, well equipped and a great location. Added bonus was the option of taking a shower or having a bath.
There was only two of us staying and the additional bedroom was great for an overspill.

A cosy apartment with wonderful views over the river estuary, many birds to watch and also the occasional train on the Ffestiniog railway. an excellent base for touring, including bus and train links.

We enjoy our visits to North Wales, as it offers a variety of interesting walks, activities and a friendly environment. This flat is a great base for these activities, especially as we enjoy visiting the Ffestiniog railway, and the local seaside, as well the occasional mountain walk when the weather permits. The views over the estuary are stunning, and constantly changing with the tide. We enjoy recording the different birds every year, and occasionally see some rarer species, which is great fun. Sitting out on the balcony just watching the tide is very relaxing!
This flat is compact, but provides the necessary amenities for a week's vacation. Recommended.

A lovely clean first floor apartment with nice views of the estuary and railway. Situated close to the town centre and harbour. Stairs to the apartment quite steep for a disabled person.

The flat is well situated & very comfortable, it has wonderful views across the estuary to Harlech. We were lucky enough to have several sightings of an osprey, which made our stay very memorable.

Comfortable and well-equipped flat with wonderful views over the Estuary and mountains and well placed for local pubs, restaurants and shops. Extra interest provided by the narrow-gauge steam trains running across the cob. Porthmadog is in an ideal place to get to all of North Wales, it's coasts and mountains.
